Marina Panova Noeva

Group leader of the “Clinical Platelet Epidemiology” at the Center for Thrombosis and Hemostasis (CTH), University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg-University, Mainz, Germany.

Dr Panova-Noeva specialized in Internal Medicine at the Medical Faculty in Skopje, North Macedonia. She obtained a Master degree in International health at Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden and a PhD degree in the field of Cancer and Thrombosis at Maastricht University, The Netherlands.

Dr. Panova-Noeva aims to introduce epidemiological methodology and standardization integrating large-scale data sets to platelet research. Her research activity focuses in the field of cancer and thrombosis, with a specific interest in platelet function in acute VTE and its interrelation with cancer as well as platelet phenotype in long-term cancer survivors at risk for cardiovascular diseases.

Dr. Panova-Noeva is a member of the CTH management board in Mainz, Germany and serves as an editorial board member and a reviewer of various well-known international journals related to Hematology and Thrombosis and Hemostasis
