Avi Leader

Avi Leader received his MD from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel in 2007 and subsequently specialized in Internal Medicine & Hematology. He currently works as a hematologist at Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva, Israel. His clinical focus and research is on thrombosis and hemostasis in cancer patients. He is currently on a clinical and research fellowship at Maastricht University, the Netherlands, focusing on management of antithrombotic medication in thrombocytopenic cancer patients. An additional field of interest is management of adherence to medication in patients with hematological malignancy.
