The VIII Oncology Forum on Thrombosis is going to be held in Madrid, 22-23 February 2019.
The course has already become a firm favourite in cancer-associated thrombosis. It’s also a meeting point, a place for learning, debate and the exchange of experiences for health professionals in Spain and, for the last two years, also for the Portuguese colleagues.
The Forum enjoys the support and backing of SEOM and other scientific societies whose specialities are linked to the study of the relationship between oncology and thrombosis, something which confirms one of the great values of this course: its multidisciplinary nature.
For this edition of the Forum, the organizers wanted to offer a cross-cutting programme addressing practical issues of interest to clinicians in their every-day work, and new topics such as the role of artificial intelligence in clinical practice. We’ll also have the chance to find out more about the new lines of research into thrombosis on an international scale from the researchers themselves, Dr. Anna Falanga and Dr. Erik Klok.
The session “In the spotlight of international groups: new lines of research” featuring Dr. Anna Falanga is going to take place on Fri 22, h 18:15.
