Agnes Lee
Professor of Medicine, Division of Hematology, Grant Tenure, at the University of British Columbia Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Professor Lee is the Medical Director of the Thrombosis Program at Vancouver General Hospital and a member of the Executive Committee for the American Society of Hematology (ASH). She participates in many academic activities to support research and education in the hematology and thrombosis communities, having been a member of several national and international organizations dedicated to the advancement and management of thrombotic disease.
She has been member of the Editorial Board of Blood (2011–2014), and a regular reviewer of other journals regarding thrombosis. Professor Lee is also a member of the Editorial Board of Research and Practice in Thrombosis and Hemostasis of the American Society of Hematology.
Her interest in the Venous Thromboembolism Prevention Policy and Guidelines brought her to be a member of the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority (VCH) authoring the policy and the clinical practice guideline document to support best practice in the hospitals.
