The 9th International Conference on Thrombosis and Hemostasis Issues in Cancer (ICTHIC) is approaching. This premier event, which has been going on strong every other year since 2001, has been witnessing some of the greatest achievements in both clinical and basic science in such an important field as cancer-related thrombosis: an unprecedented number of abstract submissions has been received this year, about 25% more than the previous edition.
